Vulnerable Post

Do you ever find yourself feeling a little worse about your own life after seeing pictures and videos of everyone else's vacations, get-togethers, and awesome hangout sessions with their friends and family?
I know I have. Some of you may have seen my recent "Vulnerable Post" on Facebook, where I chose to share a not so rosy moment in my life. It's still up - just to go my personal page if you want to check it out. Apologies in advance to those of you who are already sick of hearing about this! LOL
But I think it bears repeating. Because to me, it's important. Part of showing up fully means sharing our vulnerability, and being authentic - yes, even in our videos. There is a little risk involved - but there is risk involved any time we choose to bare our souls. Happily (so far!) no one has left any mean spirited comments, although I'm sure some may be thinking them. And that's okay.
It's not a "you have to" kind of thing, or even a "you should" proposition. It's an invitation to simply consider it, have some curiosity around it, and maybe one day when you're feeling brave, even in the midst of feeling terrified...share your own vulnerability with the world. What you discover may very well end up surprising you!
